I’m sure many of you get asked this question all the time by non-medical fields, I do all the time. For me - I’m an anesthesiologist but did almost the entirety of my intern year in surgery. We rarely slept when on call, but I did sometimes lay in bed during any calmer moments and answer pages from quiet of the call room. Anyway there were two overnight surgery interns who had two totally separate call rooms depending on which services you were covering - very clear which one of us slept in which room. Not even the same common area. Anyway the other surgery intern (he is now a vascular surgeon) came into my call room in the middle of the night and asked if I wanted to cuddle, obviously looking for more. I was engaged to my now husband at the time, who was also a resident in the same hospital. 😂 the TV show moment ends there, because obviously nothing happened and I asked him to leave and said I was happily engaged and the other resident said “that’s only a problem if you want it to be” My husband still jokes about egging his clinic submitted by /u/karina_t [link] [comments]
