etaHEN 2.5B + updated kstuff-lite fix for “This PS4 game or demo isn’t playable on PS5” on 13.60

Wait 5 sec.

I finally got this working on PS5 firmware 13.60. The issue was the older kstuff-lite build bundled with etaHEN 2.5B Unified. PS4-format homebrew like Itemzflow and PKG-Zone Homebrew Store would give: “This PS4 game or demo isn’t playable on PS5.” I believe this version fixes the error above for all ps4 apps. I rebuilt etaHEN and integrated the newer kstuff-lite commit: aaf921e608c9a3aaff753d92d4b3b16d2724b32d This includes the 13.60 launch-context fix that preserves the supplied title ID instead of ShellCore overriding it. Hardware tested on my retail PS5 running 13.60. Confirmed working: Itemzflow PKG-Zone Homebrew Store Both apps that previously gave me the PS4 compatibility error now launch normally. The build already has kstuff bundled inside etaHEN, so do not load standalone kstuff at the same time. Full credits, patch, manifest and checksum are in the repo. If anyone on 13.60 was getting the same PS4 compatibility message, give it a try and let me know what other homebrew works. submitted by /u/332Ryze [link] [comments]
