Why aren't Switch 2 games being uploaded to torrent sites? Why aren't Switch 2 dumped games, which are available and being shared in private discords and via DDL links, being uploaded to torrent websites? It seems like torrent sites would be more robust than sites like 1filchier and such, as I thought that was the entire purpose of P2P is that they aren't 'hosting' anything. Not to mention there is an element of trusted user and the validation of the P2P as well. Anonymity is assured with VPN and once the file is out in the swarm it's out. Trying to actually understand if someone has an in depth perspective. My knowledge on the topic is out of date as a long time P2P user sharing Linux Distros on public sites and a private site. *Not asking for links. Just wondering as to the 'why' and the reasons behind it. submitted by /u/TorrentFire [link] [comments]
