Cyclone Murasu was located around 200 km east-northeast of Chennai at 5:30 am on November 2, as it moved towards the Andhra Pradesh coast. The IMD has forecast landfall between Nellore and Narsapur, near Ongole, from late Monday night into Tuesday morning, with winds reaching 110 kmph and gusts up to 120 kmph.
