There's finally an official GitHub release for EglantinePS5, an experimental Nintendo Switch 2-capable emulator port for jailbroken PS5 consoles. EglantinePS5 is an unofficial PlayStation 5 port of Eglantine, a Switch 2-capable fork of Eden. The project is still in early alpha, so compatibility and performance will vary between games. What's Included? Vulkan renderer: Uses Mihawk's PS5 Mesa/RADV driver. OpenGL renderer: An alternative graphics backend. Frame generation: Lossless Scaling support through your own Lossless.dll. 120 Hz output: Support for compatible displays. DualSense support: Controller input, vibration and motion controls. Game management: Updates, DLC, mods and cheats. Save management: Import and export game saves, including Ryujinx-compatible saves. Profiles: Separate settings and save data for different users. Multiplayer: Experimental online play through Eden Rooms. What's New in v1.000.000? The published release notes specifically mention a refactor of garbage-collection byte accounting in the Vulkan port. This is the first published GitHub release, rather than just a project page or an unpublished development build. Current Status This is an early alpha. Video, audio, controller input and saves have been confirmed working, but that doesn't mean every game is playable. Local wireless multiplayer through Eden Rooms is also experimental.
