Good opportunity for a longer term investmentAlphabet Inc. Class ABATS:GOOGLMarcel_PlatonAlphabet has pulled back noticeably from its recent highs, and in my view that creates an attractive entry point for patient, long-term investors. The stock is now sitting near a major support zone where buyers stepped in strongly earlier this year. Google Search remains one of the most profitable products ever built, and YouTube and Android add huge each on top of it. Google Cloud keeps growing and is becoming a bigger share of overall profit. On the AI side, Alphabet is one of the few companies that controls the whole stack: its own models, its own chips, and billions of users to deploy them to. Waymo and other long-term bets add further upside that the market may not fully price in. From a financial point of view, the company is very strong. It generates large amounts of cash, has a solid balance sheet, and returns money to shareholders through buybacks and a dividend.
