My teenager wanted a cheap way to turn videos into stickers

Wait 5 sec.

Disclosure: I'm the developer — solo side project, live on iOS. Your iPhone can turn a photo into a sticker. Press and hold, the subject lifts out, done. Try it with a video and nothing happens. Every sticker moment I actually have is a video — my dog doing something dumb for three seconds, a friend's reaction face — and a screenshot kills it. So I built the missing piece. How it works: pick a video or Live Photo, press and hold the subject, and Snippie lifts it out and tracks it through every frame (on-device, Apple Vision). It loops on its own. Add a caption, an outline, or a background if you want. Stickers go straight into iMessage from the sticker drawer, or into a WhatsApp sticker pack; GIF and APNG export too. The newest update (v1.3) added a Fix Cutout tool — paint on the preview to erase or restore parts of the cutout — and starting a sticker right from the Messages drawer. Everything runs on-device. No account, no ads, nothing uploaded. It's free with a watermark. Pro is a one-time $4.99 (no subscription) — removes the watermark, unlocks all backgrounds and speed control. It got its first couple of sales a few weeks ago, which was a weirdly great feeling for something this small. What I'm stuck on: discovery. The app does one thing people seem to like once they see it, but almost nobody goes looking for "video sticker maker." If you've shipped a niche utility, what worked for you?
