Hi all, built a browser-based random chat that starts with voices instead of faces. No app to install, works in the browser on phone and computer. Quick tour of what it does: Random 1-on-1 voice chat with people in India. Before the call, you get an icebreaker question note like "Chai or coffee, and from where?" (tap for another) so the first seconds aren't awkward silence. Video stays off unless both people tap "Show my face". Either side can hide again, which turns video off for both at once, so nobody is left on camera alone. While video is on, an on-device check blurs anything inappropriate continuously. It runs on your own device. Next/Stop buttons to leave a chat anytime. Report ends the call and blocks a rematch; 3 reports in 24 hours suspends the account for 7 days. Calls are not recorded; they go browser to browser (a relay is used only when a direct connection isn't possible). Anonymous voice messages: you get your own unique link you can post on WhatsApp status, Instagram or X, and friends/followers can leave voice messages that expire after some time. You can invite your own friends to a voice call over WhatsApp or via an invite link. Song Wall: post 30-second song clips, they vanish after an hour, and anyone can listen without signing in. Free, 18+, sign-in is Google with a date of birth check. India only for now.
