Bitcoin still below $79,146: reclaim it or lose $73,878?Bitcoin / U.S. dollarBITSTAMP:BTCUSDEdoLab-MarketsOn the BTCUSD daily chart, price sits between a ceiling at $79,146 and a floor at $73,878. On October 29 one daily candle fell from $81,250 to $77,793 and broke the $79,146-79,384 floor that had held on the 24th, 26th and 27th. Since then it has only bounced to $78,750 (on November 2) and now trades near $77,000. Above price, the $78,384 to $79,146 zone is a ceiling: the bounces of October 30 ($78,644) and November 2 stalled there, and it had already stopped price in late August ($79,224 and $79,250). Below, $73,878-74,913 held the September 15 and 16 lows ($74,913 and $74,962) and several more between February and May. Previous idea: Key level: $79,146 (where price bottomed on October 24, and where rebounds now stall) What we're watching: a daily close above $79,146. Until price closes above that ceiling, this is a pause inside the drop from $84,843 (October 21), not a change of direction. 👍 If the day closes above $79,146, Bitcoin is back over the floor it lost on October 29 and the way opens to $84,843, the October 21 high. 👎 A daily close below $73,878 leaves the September range without a floor; the nearest mark underneath is $72,559, the April 11 low. Setup Rating — 2/5 ⭐⭐⭒⭒⭒ (about 5,700 points to the target and about 5,300 to the invalidation from the trigger: close to 1 to 1, with the trend against it) $79,146 above, $73,878 below: which one does price leave through? 👇
