Alphabet's Earnings Sell-Off Has Changed the Chart. I'm WatchingAlphabet Inc. Class ABATS:GOOGLMurtalafaiza4GOOGL has suffered a sharp correction after earnings, with concerns over its $51.4B AI infrastructure spending and negative free cash flow putting pressure on investor sentiment. But the technical damage is just as important. The daily chart has lost its rising trendline, and the former $320–$330 support has turned into resistance. Price is now around $282.46, approaching a demand zone that previously attracted buyers in March and April. My trading plan: LONG on a confirmed bounce. I'm watching the $275–$280 area closely. I want to see buyers defend this zone rather than assume it will hold. Key levels: $275–$280: Major demand zone. $290: First recovery level. $297: Stronger bullish confirmation. $320–$330: Former support, now major resistance. $357.50: Extended upside target. $267.40: Stop loss and invalidation. A successful defence of $275–$280, followed by a reclaim of $290 and $297, could open the way for a recovery towards $320–$330. However, if price breaks below $275 and continues towards my $267.40 stop, the bounce thesis is invalidated. A deeper correction towards the $250 region would then become a concern. The bigger question is whether Google's AI investment will translate into enough future revenue and cash flow to justify the spending. Strong AI growth is encouraging, but investors also want to see returns on that investment. For now, I'm watching the reaction around demand. GOOGL needs buyers, not just a cheaper price, to rebuild its bullish structure.
