Ricardo Pepi made his long-awaited return for Dutch giants PSV on Saturday and got back on track in a lopsided home victory.Pepi came off the bench and scored his first goal since September 5 as PSV routed Willem II 7-0 in Eredivisie play. The U.S. Men’s National Team forward had been out of action since mid-September due to a minor leg injury.Peter Bosz’s men took a 2-0 lead into halftime thanks to goals from Mauro Junior and Guus Til before piling on the scoreline in the second half. Fellow USMNT attacker Sergino Dest set up Sven Mijnans for PSV’s third goal of the match five minutes after the interval before Ruben van Bommel made it 4-0 in quick succession. Pepi entered the match at the hour mark and wasted little time in adding his name to the scoresheet. The 23-year-old rose high to head home Esmir Bajraktarevic’s cross for his fourth goal of the season. | GOAL: RICARDO PEPI MAKES IT FIVE FOR PSV EINDHOVEN!PSV 5-0 Willem II. pic.twitter.com/TAuTJD8xMV— TheGoalsZone (@TheGoalsZone) October 31, 2026Pepi would add an assist to his stat-line after teeing up Kodai Sano for PSV’s sixth goal of the night before Shuryjano Cornecion netted his first-career goal for a 7-0 scoreline.
