I built an iPhone app that finds the near-duplicate photos Apple's Duplicates album misses

Wait 5 sec.

My camera roll was full of bursts and five takes of the same shot, and iOS's Duplicates album only catches exact copies. So I built OneTake: it groups near-identical photos, picks the best one, and lets you clear the rest. Everything runs on the phone, with no account, no ads, no uploads, and every delete goes through Apple's own prompt. It's a one-time purchase for the extras, no subscription. It's in public beta now: https://testflight.apple.com/join/ETs18Y3J (iOS 17+, purchases are free in TestFlight) I'd love to hear whether it groups the right photos and picks the shot you'd have kept, especially on big libraries. submitted by /u/OoohThatsNice333 [link] [comments]
