Lanwades Stud is the new home for Noble Mission, the Group 1-winning full-brother to Frankel. He will cover a “strictly limited book of mares” at a fee of £9,000 in 2027.The 17-year-old son of Galileo joins Sea The Moon and Study Of Man at Kirsten Rausing's farm in Newmarket having initially stood at Lanes' End in Kentucky from 2015 before relocating to the JBBA Shizunai Stallion Station in Hokkaido in 2021. His progeny have to date won over 810 races and more than $36 million.“We are delighted to welcome Noble Mission here,” said Rausing. “He fills a much-needed place in the UK breeding industry, being a champion racehorse with an outstanding pedigree and an excellent conformation. He is also an established international sire, now available to European breeders at a very competitive fee. I would like to thank our friends at The JBBA for their co-operation in this deal, which was brokered by John Tyrrell of BBA Ireland.”Like Frankel, the Juddmonte-bred Noble Mission was trained by Sir Henry Cecil, winning both the G3 Gordon Stakes and Listed Tapster Stakes at Goodwood at three and four. He switched to the care of Lady Jane Cecil upon Sir Henry's death in June 2013 and thereafter won another five Group races, including the G1 Tattersalls Gold Cup and G1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud before emulating his celebrated elder sibling by bringing the curtain down on his career with victory in the G1 Champion Stakes at Ascot in 2014.The post Noble Mission Joins Lanwades at a Fee of £9,000 appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
