I’ve been in the process of looking for another nursing job for a couple of months now, and finally I received 3 interviews this following week. For me is it’s a big deal, I’ve been stuck in outpatient/SNF for two years in SoCal, and I’ve been struggling to find a better environment to work in. However now the situation is this, I have two vacations planned, one for the last two weeks of the year, for which everything is paid for and another one in March of next year, another two weeks at the end of the month (destination wedding of a close friend). Everything has been paid off and the first of the two vacations is not refundable. What are the chances that I will still get hired for any of these jobs? I’m so done with my current job, and that’s why I booked a vacation, I needed a brake from all the stress happening at my current workplace. I know that on my priority list a vacation should not be that high, but I’ve burnt out pretty badly these last few months.
