Hey everyone! We're a team of three university students from South Korea who built Guryong Guardian, an AI-powered disaster response platform for a coastal town called Guryongpo. Our goal is to help residents make better decisions during disasters when critical information is scattered across multiple sources. Features Integrates real-time weather, rainfall, and disaster data into a map dashboard. Analyzes flood and landslide risks. Provides personalized disaster guidance through an AI agent. Calculates evacuation routes that avoid hazardous areas. Supports volunteers in prioritizing vulnerable households. Tech stack: Python, FastAPI, LangGraph, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, GraphHopper, OpenStreetMap, Flutter. We won 2nd place at a POSTECH 2026 Digital Twin AI Hackathon, but we're now wondering whether this is actually a good product beyond the competition. Questions Is this solving a real problem, or should it just be part of existing government services? Is our multi-agent architecture justified, or are we overengineering? Would you trust an AI agent to recommend evacuation routes during a real disaster? Could this become a scalable product for other regions? We're looking for brutally honest feedback, especially from people experienced in AI, SaaS, and civic tech.
