winemaker here, built my own vineyard/winery software because I got tired of excel

Wait 5 sec.

I’ve been making wine for 20+ years (Portugal, Australia, California, Chile). Every place I’ve worked had the same setup: spray records in a notebook in the truck, cellar work in excel, lab results lost somewhere in email. Then a week of pain before every audit. About six months ago I started building my own thing. It’s called GrapeFlow. Vineyard blocks, sprays, maturation samples, harvest, tanks, barrels, lots, bottling, all connected, so you can see which blocks ended up in which wine without digging through five files. I use it in my own cellars every day, so if something is annoying I find out fast. There’s a demo winery with fake data if you want to poke around, no signup: grapeflow.app/demo Honest feedback welcome, especially if you know someone running a small winery. Still trying to figure out what would actually make them drop their spreadsheets. submitted by /u/ChemistryVirtual8961 [link] [comments]
