Most cookie banners look fine and still leak: analytics fires before you click anything, “reject” doesn’t stop the tags, the choice is gone after a reload. You can’t see that from the banner, only from the network. So I built a tool. It loads your site in a clean browser, does nothing, and records which trackers and cookies appear. Then it clicks reject, accept, withdraw, reloads, sends the GPC signal, and records again. Chromium and WebKit, two locales. Out comes a PDF report with evidence and a fix list written like GitHub issues: what happened, how to reproduce, what to change, what “done” means. It’s working and the whole flow runs by e-mail, no meetings. Before I put it in front of paying customers I want one last site through it, start to finish, with someone who’ll tell me honestly what’s confusing or wrong. What you’d get: the full audit plus two months of weekly monitoring, at no cost. What I’d get: your feedback and the right to publish the report with your domain removed, as the sample on my site. Fits if: it’s your own site (you’ll prove it with a file or a DNS record, or just a signed order form), it has a cookie banner and at least one analytics or ads tag, you have EU or UK visitors, and you’re a business or freelancer, not a hobby site. Three pages max. Not legal advice, not a certification. It’s a technical report of what the browser saw. DM with the domain and I’ll take the first one that fits. Happy to answer questions about how it works too. submitted by /u/Emotional-Buy-3536 [link] [comments]
