Hey r/SideProject! For the Stranger Builds hackathon this weekend, I built a satirical web app called HauntBnb (https://hauntbnb.base44.app/). The premise: whenever you check into a hotel room or Airbnb and the vibes feel slightly cursed, you snap a photo. The vision AI acts like a deadpan paranormal investigator—spotting things like closet doors ajar at weird angles, suspicious mirror reflections, or eerie shadows—and issues an official "Paranormal Inspection Certificate" with a Haunt Score, entity classification, and survival directives. Key features: Zero Friction: No signup, email, or paywall. Inspection Report: Downloadable/shareable certificate for group chats or social media. Built the whole full-stack app in about an hour on Base44. Try scanning your current room: https://hauntbnb.base44.app/ Would love your feedback on the UI and the prompts! What haunt score did your room get? submitted by /u/mrdzyn [link] [comments]
