Hey guys, I'm a long time songwriter and I've always struggled at the lyric writing stage. Keeping track of syllables and what actually rhymes with what was driving me nuts, so I built a tool for it. It's called LyricLike. As you type, it counts the syllables in each line, labels the rhyme scheme, and marks internal rhymes. You can also click a word and it finds rhymes by how they sound, so near-rhymes show up too. No generative AI, it won't write anything for you. It started as a personal project, but I figured other writers might find it useful, so I made it public. You can also write with other people on the same page, kind of like google docs but with extra musical features. Built with plain HTML/CSS/JS (no build step) on Cloudflare Pages + D1. It's free and you don't need an account to get started: https://lyriclike.com/ I'd love to hear what's missing or what feels off. Also curious how other people here get their first users for something like this. submitted by /u/ProfessorTea [link] [comments]
