I launched a library of 1M real UI flows 4 days ago. 1,800 signups, 9 paying. Here's what I learned

Wait 5 sec.

I built Refcat because every design I started began with digging through Dribbble shots that never shipped. It's 3.3M screens and ~1M complete flows from 460k real apps, sites, emails and games, searchable by what you're designing ("paywall with free trial") instead of by app name. Launch week numbers (real): 1,832 signups, mostly from a waitlist + WhatsApp design groups 9 paying (Pro, $10/mo) 68 people opened the upgrade page, 10 started checkout, 8 paid. Checkout converts; the pricing page doesn't. What surprised me: the MCP server (Claude Code / Cursor pull real references before writing UI) gets more interest from devs than the Figma export gets from designers. What would make you pay for a UI reference library? Honest answers welcome. https://refcat.app submitted by /u/Foutain [link] [comments]
