I've released a new version of ProsperoWeb, the open-source WebKit browser for jailbroken PS5 consoles. What's new in v0.2.0: Built-in ad blocker — enabled by default, using EasyList, EasyPrivacy, Peter Lowe's and uBlock Origin filter lists. Blocks ads and trackers, including on YouTube pages. SponsorBlock — automatically skips sponsored segments in YouTube videos. Categories can be configured. YouTube ad skipping — removes pre-roll and mid-roll video ads (best effort). Natural scrolling — new toggle for the DualSense touchpad. Improved session restore — tabs, history and bookmarks are saved automatically, even when closing the app with the PS button. Improved stability — fixes for video seeking and playback when switching tabs. Reworked browser menu. The ad blocker and SponsorBlock features are built directly into the browser, without relying on browser extensions. Requirements: A jailbroken PS5 with an ELF loader (etaHEN works out of the box). Tested on firmware 13.42. Other versions haven't been tested yet. Feedback and testing are welcome, especially on how well the ad blocker works across different websites!
