Magic Kingdom Sold Out for 4 Days: $429 Disney World Tickets Gone

Wait 5 sec.

Walt Disney World runs on a simple tension. Many guests want to ride the same popular attractions, and a park can only move so many people through those lines in a day. Disney offers a range of paid ways to shorten the wait at several price points, and when one of them sells out, it hints at how much demand there is on that day.Credit: Edited by Inside The Magic / @bioreconstruct on XThis week, the top option ran out at Magic Kingdom. Lightning Lane Premier Pass has sold out for four consecutive days, Monday, November 2 through Thursday, November 5. The My Disney Experience app showed the four dates started selling out on October 29. Here’s the date-by-date breakdown, what the other parks show, and how this compares with earlier demand. At a GlanceCredit: Inside the MagicSold out at Magic Kingdom: Monday, November 2 through Thursday, November 5First to sell out: November 5, on October 29, at $419Prices on the other three dates: $429Other parks: Premier Pass still listed for all four days at Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood StudiosStill available: Every Magic Kingdom date from November 6 through 22What Premier Pass IsCredit: Forsaken Fotos, FlickrLightning Lane Premier Pass gives guests one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane experience in one park for one day. The benefit is that guests don’t need to schedule arrival windows. Disney says purchasing is subject to limited quantities, and four straight Magic Kingdom dates have now used up that supply. What “Sold Out” Means HereCredit: Inside the MagicIn this case, “sold out” means the dates disappeared from the My Disney Experience app, which is how guests and trackers see availability. Disney says purchasing is subject to limited quantities, so a vanished date signals that the supply ran out.For quick reference, the four dates are Monday, November 2, Tuesday, November 3, Wednesday, November 4, and Thursday, November 5.The Sellout, Date by DateNovember 5 was the first to sell out. Premier Pass for that Thursday disappeared from the My Disney Experience app on October 29, with the single-person price at $419.November 3 and November 2 followed on October 30, at $429 each. November 4 had dropped off when we checked, also at $429. We don’t know the exact day November 4 sold out.Disney has posted Premier Pass pricing through November 22, and every date from November 6 through 22 still shows as available. The Other Parks Still Have RoomMagic Kingdom is the only park with a sellout. The other three still list Premier Pass for November 2 through 5, at these price ranges for those four days:Animal Kingdom: $159 to $179EPCOT: $229 to $249Hollywood Studios: $329 to $339Other Magic Kingdom Lightning Lane OptionsMagic Kingdom’s other Lightning Lane options remain mostly open. Multi Pass, a much cheaper option that requires booking ride windows, costs $37 on November 2, 4, and 5, and $39 on November 3.Single Pass for TRON Lightcycle Run costs $24, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train costs $16 on November 2, 4, and 5. Both attractions reached new record-high Single Pass prices beginning November 1, as we reported. How This Compares With Earlier DemandPremier Pass began selling out at Walt Disney World in November 2024. Magic Kingdom’s November 17 date sold out first, at $379. Thanksgiving week then brought the first-ever four-park Premier Pass sellout. This week’s Magic Kingdom sellouts come at higher prices, $419 to $429. In August, Premier Pass at Magic Kingdom dropped to a record-low $299 for two Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights, as we reported at the time. The Price GapSubtracting the August low from this week’s sellout prices, $419 minus $299 is $120, and $429 minus $299 is $130. That puts this week’s sellout prices $120 to $130 above that floor, and demand looks considerably higher, based on the sellouts. What We ExpectThese four sold-out dates are the start of a run of higher crowds through the end of the year, as we see it. With Thanksgiving coming up and Christmas crowds to follow, we expect to see more sold-out dates in the months to come. That’s our expectation, and nothing here confirms it.What the Numbers Don’t Tell UsA sellout shows that a limited supply of passes ran out. It doesn’t tell us how many passes there were or how many guests will be in the park. It also doesn’t say how many people bought Premier Pass, or whether Disney will release more, and prices can change. We also can’t say whether the app listing reflects every purchase channel. The dates disappeared from the My Disney Experience app, and that’s what we’re reporting.Planning Around a SelloutCredit: Inside the MagicIf you were counting on Premier Pass at Magic Kingdom this week, you’ll need another plan. Multi Pass, which requires booking ride windows, and Single Pass for TRON Lightcycle Run and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train remain available at the prices listed, and the other three parks still list Premier Pass for these dates. For later trips, Premier Pass dates from November 6 through 22 are still listed as available for Magic Kingdom. Check the My Disney Experience app for current availability and prices, since both can change.Did You Snag One?Did you buy Premier Pass for an upcoming trip, or did you miss out?
