I've been a freelance IT consultant for about 12 years and billing has always been my weak spot, so I built a Notion workspace to handle it. I've now turned it into a template called Crew of One OS. There's a time log with a start/stop timer, and hours roll up per project. On Friday a button pulls the unbilled hours into an invoice total. A chase list shows overdue invoices each day with the chaser email already written, and there's a late-payment calculator for business clients using UK, EU, French or German rules. It doesn't send invoices or do any accounting. You'd still send invoices from whatever you use now. Before I sell it properly I'd like about 10 freelancers or consultants to use it for real for two weeks, including two Fridays of invoicing, and then fill in a five-question form. In return you get Core or Pro free, with free updates within version 1. You don't have to review it anywhere.
