The growing challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, environmental pollution, resource depletion, and ecological degradation necessitate effective legal frameworks and international cooperation. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted in 2015, provide a comprehensive global framework for addressing these interconnected challenges and promoting a balance between environmental protection, economic development, and social justice. International environmental law plays a vital role in advancing these objectives through international treaties, customary principles, institutional mechanisms, and judicial interventions. However, persistent challenges relating to treaty implementation, State responsibility, environmental accountability, climate finance, and equitable resource distribution continue to hinder the achievement of global sustainability targets. These concerns also raise important questions regarding environmental justice, human rights, intergenerational equity, and the responsibilities of State and non-State actors. The conference aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for academicians, researchers, legal professionals, policymakers, research scholars, and students to critically examine contemporary developments in international environmental law and their implications for sustainable development.IMPORTANT DATESDate of Release of Call for Papers: Oct 28, 2026Last Date for Early Bird Registration: Nov 12, 2026Last Date for Abstract Submission: Dec 03, 2026Last Date of Submission of Full Paper: Dec 06, 2026Last Date of Registration: Dec 06, 2026Conference Date: Dec 12, 2026PERKSAll submitted Abstracts shall be published in a Book of Abstracts; All the Paper Presenters shall be provided with a Certificate of PresentationSelected papers shall be published in an International ISSN Journal named Annual International Journal on Analysis of Contemporary Legal Affairs (AIJACLA) e-ISSN: 2583-1437 and other papers will be published in ISBN Book and a Soft Copy of the Book shall be made available for free; All participants will be provided with a participation certificate.REGISTRATION FEESStudents (Discounted Early Registration)– Rs. 600 Students/Research Scholar – Rs. 750Research Scholar (Discounted Early Registration)-Rs. 700Research Scholar – Rs. 850Academicians/Practitioners (Discounted Early Registration)– Rs. 800 Academicians/Practitioners – Rs. 950 VIL Students/Research Scholar – FreeVIL Academicians/Staff – FreeP.S.: In case of co-author, both the authors will have to register separately.** There shall not be any separate publication charges.
