India is seeking US liquefied natural gas through its renewed 20-year supply deal with Qatar, its biggest LNG supplier, as the Iran war disrupts shipments from the Gulf. Petronet LNG is discussing whether Qatar can source part of its contracted volumes from US facilities from 2028, helping India diversify supplies, retain its partnership with Doha and reduce future supply risks.
