Side project I just shipped: a Chrome extension called LeaveSpace for blocking distracting sites. The reason I built it — I went looking for a simple blocker and everything decent either wanted a monthly subscription or capped how many sites you could block for free. I just wanted to block a few sites during work hours. So the free version blocks unlimited sites, does schedules (only block 9-5, that kind of thing) and has a password lock for people who cheat and turn their blocker off. Everything is stored locally in Chrome, no account, no tracking. Happy to hear what's missing or what you'd never pay for. submitted by /u/Mental-Mud-687 [link] [comments]
