Hey yall, trying to make a custom switch panel mount for my 2022 Crosstrek like the one shown. Ideally I would scan the air duct bezel and integrate it into a new one like the one you see in the example picture but as the title states, I don’t have a scanner. My plan is to make my own housing and mounting plate and just drill a hole and run the wiring through with some bolts and a nut on the backside or something similar. I’m still a tinkerCAD user and learning. Question is, how can I measure and make a negative impression of this rounded contour (grey trim piece in between switches and vent) so I can have a 3d mounting solution that will make full contact with my 3d printed piece?   submitted by   /u/Disastrous-Ad-1182 [link]   [comments]
