‘Taking a Swing’: Asagi Stables Nabs Not This Time Filly for $1.15M at Fasig-Tipton

Wait 5 sec.

Caitlin Dunne went to $1.15 million for a Not This Time filly Monday afternoon at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale on behalf of Asagi Stables. Consigned as Hip 80 by Taylor Made Sales Agency, the Feb. 13 foal is the second foal out of the listed stakes-winning Into Mischief mare Feeling Mischief. The Feeling Mischief Syndicate bred the filly, who hails from the same family as champions Wait a While and Lookin At Lucky.Dunne also signed for Hip 36, an Into Mischief filly, earlier in the afternoon for $1 million for Asagi Stables.“We've really been trying, especially with Asagi Stables, to get some more two-turn dirt type horses,” said Dunne. “Obviously Into Mischief and Not This Time can really get you anything. And we would hope that they are those champion-type fillies and we'll just see what they want to be. But we are kind of taking a swing at the longer distances as well as the sprints.”Dunne added that both fillies would go to trainer Wesley Ward. Hip 80, a filly by NOT THIS TIME o/o SW Feeling Mischief, sells for $1,150,000 at The Noveumber Sale!
