My band is releasing our album digitally (square album cover) and physically on cassette (j-card template here). I hand sketched what we are looking for (first photo) and provided inspiration photos for additional reference. Happy to talk over details so you understand our vision and how it ties into our album cover appropriately and provide you our music to listen to so you are able to understand our vibe more intimately. We will work with the first person worth our time who we feel is legit and seems to be a good fit for our project. I am also involved with 6 or 7 other music projects needing art, none of which have much money to spend. Our budget doesn't allow for physical painting which is what we originally desired (happy to pay slightly more than $15 for a physical painting knowing that this barely covers even the cost of your paintbrush), and we are not going to pay you anything close to what your time is actually worth therefore only apply if this is something you absolutely want to be a part of, so we are settling on a high quality professional digital painting preferably with a highly organic flawed human feel to it not some perfectly drawn bullshit. Price negotiable if you produce some absolutely bangin' artwork entirely up our alley. We do not want modern perfection or modern shine. We want nasty, gross, occult feeling ethos. Really wanting you to get creative with this and put your fingerprint all over this art esoterically in your own style as you feel worthwhile. submitted by /u/thr0wsk1n [link] [comments]
