Air Chief Marshal Ashutosh Dixit has prioritised indigenous platforms like the light combat aircraft and advanced multirole combat aircraft. He stated the Indian Air Force will focus on Indian solutions for sustained operations. The first LCA Mk1a fighter jets are expected to be inducted this year, addressing previous delays. Additionally, the air force plans to acquire 114 additional Rafale jets soon.
