Flop at Florence "I miss coaching right now. After Florence experience... I wanted to do good but it didn't end well, I had to take a break. I had offers from abroad but didn't consider them. I think I raised expectations too much in a such heated and passionate environment, putting unnecessary pressure on the team. Some results could have been different but the pressure didn't let us express ourselves to the best of our abilities. For sure now they have made a serious investment in new players. There needs to be patience but in Italy and especially in Florence there usually isn't enough patience." Fabregas and Gasperini "Como put the manager at the center of their project. I've seen interesting things, he choose functional players that know how to move and lose their man. Every coach has their own play style, there is a lot of difference between Gasperini and Fabregas but both offer an exciting and offensive football. Scudetto with Milan A good coach can adapt to his players abilities. In that team I had players that if they had to defend deep they would get in trouble. It depends on the energy and intensity of the pressing, wether you are low or high you have to do it with the right intensity. The scudetto year Rafa was unbelievable, when we win something great happens in the team. After that we weren't good enough, including me, Maldini, Massara and Rafa. He can't chase the fullback to the end, he could but he doesn't. Moreira like Leao? I've seen him against Sassuolo and I was impressed. Him and Rabiot have an important leg. Milan had a great game, Maignan some great saces... But with their starters available is a very good team, after the subs they struggled a bit. They took a while to get some results because they had some players with some issues and they needed time to find their form. Modric too has an important leg. Goncalo Ramos does a great job and is important for the team." submitted by /u/No_Description_1369 [link] [comments]
