I was skinny until late university and thought it was just my body type. It wasn't, I wasn't eating enough. Once I started lifting I wanted to know one thing: how far am I from the body I actually want? Every tracker gave me charts of kg over time, none of them answered that. So I built Archetype. You pick a goal (Greek God, Powerlifter, Calisthenics, CrossFit or your own) and it sets a target for each lift, scaled to your bodyweight. Your logged sets fill a radar and it tells you what percentage of the way you are. None of it is fixed. You can swap any exercise (dumbbell press instead of overhead press, say) and change the target type: a weight for reps, added weight, a rep count like 15 pull-ups, a hold like a 15 second front lever, a cardio time or a body fat range. The rest is a normal gym tracker, done the way I wanted it: Logging: last time's weights are already filled in, rest timer, new PRs flagged as you hit them Ready programs to start with, and starting weights picked from your experience level 1,500+ exercises, plus bodyweight and body measurements Import your history from Strong, Hevy or StrongLifts, export a full backup any time Coach report: one text file with your goal, program, workouts and measurements, to paste into ChatGPT or Claude or send to a coach Free, no ads, no account, works offline. Everything stays on the phone. Android: Archtype playstore link iPhone: not yet, there's a waitlist on https://archetypefitness.app It's new, so tell me where the targets look wrong for your lifts, or if a percentage like this would push you or just annoy you. submitted by /u/WeWillJustHugNSleep [link] [comments]
