To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Xbox this year, Microsoft has launched a "25 Years of Xbox" digital game bundle. It includes 25 games for $570. That works out to about $23/game, but it's more nuanced than that, as some of the games are bundles themselves. For example, one of the games in the bundle, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, includes Halo 1, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4. There are Gears of War and Age of Empire bundles, too. Some of the games in the bundle are for both Xbox and PC, and some are just for Xbox or just for PC. Additionally, many of the games in the pricy bundle are currently on Xbox Game Pass.Given all of that, you may want to check your library and do some quick math before spending hundreds of dollars on this anniversary bundle.2026 is the 25th anniversary of Xbox, and Microsoft wanted it to be a significant celebratory event for fans and employees alike, but the year has been terrible for the Xbox brand. After Microsoft named Asha Sharma the new Xbox CEO in February, she gutted Xbox as part of a "reset" that included mass layoffs, studio divestitures, and game cancellations. Sharma said these moves were necessary because Xbox was in such an unhealthy place in terms of its finances.25 Years of Xbox Bundle: Buy here at XboxHalo 3: ODSTHalo 4Halo 3Halo 2: AnniversaryHalo: Combat AnniversaryHalo: ReachMinecraft Dungeons for Windows + LauncherThe Elder Scrolls Online: Standard EditionGears TacticsAge of Empires III: Definitive EditionAge of Empires II: Definitive EditionMinecraft Dungeons Ultimate Edition for WindowsHalo: The Master Chief CollectionAge of Empires III: Definitive Edition - The Complete HistoryAge of Empires: Definitive EditionAge of Mythology: Retold Premium EditionThe Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition (PC)Fallout 76: Deathclaw Pet Deluxe Edition (PC)The Elder Scrolls Online: Deluxe EditionGears Triple Bundle (containing Gears 5, Gears 5: Hivebusters, and Gears Tactics)The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition (PC) + Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition (PC) BundleDoom Anthology (containing Doom: The Dark Ages, Doom Eternal, Doom, Doom 3, Doom 64, and Doom + Doom II)Age of Empires 25th Anniversary Collection (containing Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition, Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, Age of Empires Definitive Edition)
