Construction works at a site in Żebbuġ have been ordered to stop after a worker was injured during demolition works.According to TVM News, the incident occurred at a construction site in Sqaq No. 1, Triq Ħal-Dwieli, prompting an investigation by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA).According to a joint statement issued by the authorities on Tuesday, preliminary investigations indicate that the worker sustained injuries while demolition work was underway.Officers from both authorities rushed to the site, alongside police and first aid services, following the incident.The BCA and OHSA have since ordered all works at the site to stop while investigations continue.The authorities are working together to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.•
