Chop day, one pay: META TREND at the morning lowInvesco QQQ Trust Series IBATS:QQQCool-OffSniperA chop day, start to finish. QQQ pinned 684–688 all morning ahead of the midterms tonight and the jobs report Friday — and on a day like this the system's job is not to make money everywhere, it is to take the one clean print and keep everything else small. Today that print was META. META — the one clean pay The morning dip flushed to 605.9, and the TREND printed ~09:47 at ~608 — at the low, not after the move. From there it staircased all morning: higher lows, no chase, through 619 by 11:00. +70% on the first half; the runner half is still on while the staircase holds. QQQ — the runner still working TREND printed ~09:34 at ~683.6 on the open dip, inside the 680–688 base that has held since Monday's flush. Small half out into the chop; the runner half rode the late-morning push through the 688.22 overnight high, with the 692–693.50 shelf underside the next test. AVGO — the spike that held (best of the rest) TREND printed ~09:31 at ~330.9 and spiked to 335.7; unlike the others it held most of the move, basing at 334 into midday. The rest — printed, chopped, cut small NVDA printed ~09:31 at ~207.2, spiked to 209.4 and faded back to the print. MU printed ~09:31 at ~863, spiked to ~871 and faded into a 856–865 range. AMZN printed ~09:33 at ~246.0 and faded from 249.7. All three were the same shape: a spike with no follow-through — kept small and cut fast. AMD — no trade. Earnings tonight; it sat out by rule. Six prints, one pay, two runners still working, net break-even on the closed half of the day. That is what discipline looks like in chop: the entries were all at flush lows off fresh crosses, nothing was chased mid-range, and the day was never allowed to turn red while the tape waits on tonight's vote and Friday's number.
