I'm a solo dev and made WalkPack (walkdogpack.com). These are my dogs, Buddy (Rottweiler) and Mia, who do most of the testing. How it works: start a walk, walk at your dog's pace, then save it. Shared walks earn virtual territory on a map. You can track miles and milestones for one dog or a whole pack, and compare Top Dog ranks with a friend. To take a rival's patch you have to walk at least 80% of its original distance and cover at least 80% of its land. Driving doesn't earn land. Privacy was a big design point: other players see your dog, filled territory and basic stats, not your exact route or start/finish markers. Private walks stay off the shared map. Pricing: the core walking and territory game is free. Optional Pro adds long-term charts, yearly recaps, walk exports and starting walks from Apple Watch. The hardest part has been making territory feel fair across cities, small towns and rural paths. I'd love feedback on that, or on anything that feels confusing. submitted by /u/Kitchen_Cable6192 [link] [comments]
