Got Pokopia running natively on my iPhone Duo. Not emulated, not streamed from a PC, it's actually running on the phone. (The phone is plugged in for log debugging) It's built on [nxnative](https://github.com/seedds/nxnative) by seedds. I extended it to handle Switch 2 games and used the NS2 Eden's shader work to get the Switch 2 shaders running on Metal. Huge thanks to seedds, the Eden team, and 0x2593, none of this would exist without them. I'll be putting an installer up on GitHub in the next few days, I'm still just working out some small shader bugs as you can see in the video (missing face portion). Same idea as NXNativeWindows: you point it at your own copy of the game and it builds the app for you. Works for MacOS and IOS. One heads up: you'll need a paid Apple Developer account ($99/year) to install it on iPhone. The game needs more memory than iOS normally gives an app, and the setting that unlocks that is only available on paid accounts. Free sideloading won't work for this one. submitted by /u/xFractals [link] [comments]
