I work with a small team that builds voice-powered AI apps. The idea we keep coming back to is using AI to make the people in the room better at what they're doing, and to make that fun, instead of replacing anybody. The one we've been living in lately is a meeting app called 'Just Say It'. We run our own team meetings and one-on-ones on it, so this isn't a mockup. We've been testing for a few months. The screen follows the conversation. Somebody says a number, a chart shows up. Somebody mentions a city, there's a map. (hopefully) Nobody has to share their screen and click through a deck. (though you still can) There's also an AI in the meeting called Ziggy. It listens the whole time but stays quiet unless you say its name. When someone brings up something nobody's sure about, you ask Ziggy and get the answer right there, instead of "I'll look it up later." It can also bring back what we decided last week, or run a quiz. The quiz ended up being our favorite part. We do one at the end on what we just talked about. Everyone answers on their own screen and the picks show up at the same time. People pay way more attention when they know it's coming, and it's kind of fun seeing who wasn't listening. What we're trying to go for is a meeting where you walk out knowing more than when you walked in. 🤔 And when it's over, the slides and notes from the conversation are already there if you need them. Currently works best in desktop browser mode, English, and in Chrome. Free to try. It's still early, so there are rough edges. (If you run out of time let me know!) What I actually want to know is whether it makes a meeting better or just busier. If you try it with your team, a class, or a few friends, tell me where it helped and where it got in the way. https://justsayit.ai submitted by /u/CalebCriste [link] [comments]
