I built a 4.7 MB Safari extension for one small annoyance on iPhone Duo

Wait 5 sec.

I’m the developer of Sidewell, which just launched on the App Store. It started with a specific annoyance: websites on the iPhone Duo’s outer display can leave useful space beside Safari’s side controls. Sidewell lets you choose Normal, Fill right edge, or Edge to edge for each website without reloading the page. The companion app has defaults, searchable saved sites, reset controls, and adjustable header spacing. There’s also a customizable floating glass button for changing views. The tricky part has been dealing with real websites: fixed navigation, page zoom, popups, keyboards, and video players. Layouts still vary, so Normal is always available; camera-left cover landscape stays at normal width. This works in Safari, not embedded in-app browsers. I wanted to keep it small: the current App Store listing is 4.7 MB. Preferences stay on-device, with no Sidewell account, analytics, or browsing-history collection. It’s free to download, with an optional 3-day free trial. Continued full access afterward is a one-time US$0.99 lifetime unlock. No subscription or automatic charge. Duo owners: if a layout looks wrong, the URL, Page Zoom, and orientation help me reproduce it.
