Kia Joorabchian's Amo Racing went to $4.2 million to acquire 'TDN Rising Star, presented by Hagyard' Cy Fair (f, 3, Not This Time–Remarqued, by Arch) at Monday evening's Fasig-Tipton November sale. Consigned by Taylor Made as Hip 182 as a racing or broodmare prospect, Cy Fair was fresh off a second to Bacio (Maclean's Music) in Saturday's GI Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint at Keeneland. She won the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint last year over the boys.Bloodstock agent Jamie McCalmont confirmed the filly would stay in training with George Weaver next year with hopes for a tilt at Royal Ascot in June.“If she can maintain what she's done already, we've got a very nice horse for the racing stable,” McCalmont said. “That's what we are trying to do, win big races.”A 3-year-old filly, Cy Fair is a half-sister to MG2SW Crimson Advocate (Nyquist). Their dam sold as last year's Keeneland November sale for $1.2 million to Steve Young. 2025 @BreedersCup Juvenile Turf Sprint winner CY FAIR sells for $4,200,000 at The November Sale!
