I'm a PM and I read LinkedIn threads as research. A founder asks "is X still worth paying for" and 60 people answer. When I copied one of those posts into Claude, it got 4 of the 60 comments, plus "Follow" buttons, reaction counts and my own profile sidebar. LinkedIn only loads a sample, and its default "Most relevant" sort hides some comments for good. So I built Riff, a free Chrome extension. One click loads every comment and reply, drops the clutter and opens Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini with the whole thread in the message box. It only reads. It never posts anything. One test: a founder asked whether LinkedIn Recruiter is still worth paying for. The pasted page said keep paying for InMail. The whole thread (110 of 111 comments) said InMail replies are weak and personal email works better. That's two threads, so it's a hint, not proof. What I'd like to know: Do you use comment threads as research, or is that just me? Would knowing the AI read the whole thread change how much you trust the answer? What would make this useless for you?
