I spent months building an AI desktop voice assistant, it can draw and explain in your screen

Wait 5 sec.

For the past few months, I’ve been obsessing over building Flinch—a floating, dynamic-pill AI voice overlay for desktop built in Electron. I hated having to open a browser tab just to ask a quick question, and I didn't want a creepy always-listening wake word. So I wired it up to trigger instantly with Alt+V, paired with local voice activity detection, multimodal screen context, and smooth pill animations. I just put the build up on my hub at https://reech.ink if anyone wants to test out the Alt+V workflow or tear apart the UI. Would love honest feedback on the latency and window animations. I will add a BYOK system soon. Should I keep building this? Is it worth it? P.S. Flinch has a lot of bugs and rate limits. It takes around 20s to respond since it needs a cold start from Modal.
