https://bloxx.chat/aquarium About 6 months ago, I started building a small side project called Bloxx. The original concept was simple. A lightweight virtual lounge where people gather and talk online. I implemented distance-based spatial audio and a feature allowing users to map their realtime faces onto the avatar. After finishing core features, I wasn't entirely sure how to monetize or evolve it, so I left it for a while like we all did. Recently in Korea online temple called Sansa (산사) get really hyped and I got motivated again to revisit the rpoject. This time I decided to give it a distinct enviroment. Inspired by the massive viewing panels at the Churaumi aquarium in Okinawa, Japan, I created a interactive ocean window where the space itself is shaped collaboratively by whoever is in the room.
