NEAR voted to cut issuance and still lost 3.90. I sell a bounceNEARUSDT Perpetual ContractBYBIT:NEARUSDT.PNorthEdgeOfficialNEAR's House of Stake approved a cut of the issuance ceiling from 2.5% to 1.6% today. NEAR was down 0.4% on the news and is down 6.5% in 24 hours at 3.84, off a low of 3.742. The cut still needs a Security Council review and a 90-day grace period before it is binding, so nobody is paying for it yet. X is split: some call this a Wyckoff distribution, others said it was never going under 4. The chart: NEAR is under its 4H 200 average (4.51) and the daily 50 (4.30), and BTC is under both of its own. The highs since 27 Oct went 4.842, 4.69, 4.56, 4.35, 4.16. The hack-night floor at 3.90 (30 Oct low 3.903) gave way on 2 Nov. The fib of the 4.842 to 3.742 drop puts 23.6% at 4.00 and 38.2% at 4.16, the same area as the 2 Nov retest candles that closed at 4.13 and 4.01. Entry: a 4H candle that wicks into 4.00 to 4.16 and closes back under 4.00 Targets: 3.60 / 3.42 Wrong: 4H close over 4.26 Skip it if a 4H candle closes under 3.70 first. Stop about 5%, TP1 about 11%, TP2 about 16% from 4.05. TP1 is the 19 Sep close and TP2 the 20 Sep low, where the September run started. Weak points: a 6.5% drop in a day usually bounces, and a deep bounce hurts this idea. NEAR Intents just had its best revenue month, and the US midterms and the Iran strikes are headline risk. If there is no bounce I do nothing. Do you sell the first touch or wait for the candle to close back down?
