Tottenham and Juventus have both expressed an interest in Younes Ebnoutalib, who has been on fire this season, but Eintracht Frankfurt are taking evasive action. One does not need to be a genius to deduce that signing a number nine would be Tottenham’s priority in January, particularly with Richarlison looking certain to exit Spurs. While Tottenham signed exclusive Premier League-proven players in the summer, most of the strikers on Spurs’ radar for January are ones plying their trade outside England. That potentially suggests a change in transfer strategy, with reports indicating the Lilywhites will be restrained in January and will prioritise value-for-money additions over big-money signings.A young Bundesliga centre-forward, who has scored two more league goals than Harry Kane this term, has allegedly caught the eye of the North London club.Photo by Ulrik Pedersen/NurPhoto via Getty ImagesTottenham battling Juventus for Younes EbnoutalibIt emerged back in September that Spurs scouts had been impressed with Eintracht Frankfurt striker Younes Ebnoutalib, who has had an extremely bright start to the season. The 23-year-old is currently sitting third in the Bundesliga Golden Boot race with six goals and has scored eight across all competitions in 10 matches so far.NameGoalsAssistsPlayedGoals per 90 minutesMinutes per GoalTotal ShotsGoal ConversionShot AccuracyN.
