The work sounds extensive, but it also seems focused on restoring and improving the experience guests already know.Crews are repairing parts of the ride system while also addressing animatronics and other problems that have developed over the years of operation. With an attraction that has operated since 1999, there are plenty of moving pieces that require attention.That could be great news for guests who have encountered broken effects or dinosaurs that weren’t moving as intended. Guests should still recognize the creatures and scenes that have been part of the attraction for decades.Instead, Universal appears to be repairing and updating the existing figures so they can perform more reliably and look less worn after years of operation.
