Telangana to extend support to Telugu language preservation in Mauritius: Bhatti - The HinduPublished - August 29, 2026 09:30 pm ISTHyderabadTelangana will extend all possible support to promote Telugu language, culture, and ancient epics and heritage in Mauritius, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said.A delegation led by Mauritius Minister for Public Service and Administrative Services Lachmuna Raj Pentiah met the Deputy CM at Praja Bhavan on Saturday.He said that Telangana and Mauritius have shared cordial relations for a long time, and recalled the common historical and cultural heritage between the two countries and the strong bonds of friendship between their people.He said Telangana has a special connection with Mauritius through the Telugu language, culture, and traditions.
