Foodies, this one’s for you.The annual Definitive(ly) Good Guide to Restaurants survey is returning this September, giving diners the chance to decide which restaurants deserve to be ranked among Malta and Gozo’s best.Running from 1st to 30th September, the survey invites people to vote for restaurants they have visited over the past 12 months, rating them on food, ambience and service.And it isn’t only about fine dining. Diners can vote for everything from long-standing favourites and neighbourhood gems to exciting newcomers and special-occasion restaurants.There are also a number of special categories, including Best Maltese Food Restaurant, Best Value for Money, Most Romantic Restaurant, Most Child-Friendly Restaurant, Most Pet-Friendly Restaurant and Best Chef.The results will determine the top 150 survey-rated restaurants featured in the 2027 edition of The Definitive(ly) Good Guide to Restaurants in Malta & Gozo.Meanwhile, the top 40 restaurants and winners of the special awards will be celebrated at a gala ceremony in December.And there’s something in it for voters too.Participants will have the chance to win prizes including hotel stays, dinners, gourmet hampers, wine glasses and copies of the 2027 restaurant guide.So, whether it’s the restaurant you return to every month or that one meal you still haven’t stopped talking about, September is your chance to give it some love.Voting opens on 1st September and closes on 30th September.Share with that foodie in your life!•
