Opposition Leader Alex Borg has taken aim at Prime Minister Robert Abela over the widespread electricity disruptions affecting Gozo, accusing him of being “totally absent” as residents and businesses face hours without power.In a social media post on Saturday, Borg questioned Abela’s silence following two major faults in Gozo’s electricity network, which have resulted in prolonged power cuts across parts of the island.Borg claimed the last time Abela publicly addressed problems in the energy sector was to criticise Enemalta employees, whom the Opposition Leader instead praised for working to restore electricity supplies.
