My (crazy) ex boyfriend got taken to burning man when he was 12. Mom and stepdad were huge burners and figured it was “time”. This was BM 2017. This poor boy was near the front of the crowd when a dude ran into the man and burned to death. He saw this guy burn to death and heard his screams. He saw his burnt body after they pulled it out of the fire. Unsurprisingly , dude grew up with TONS of issues and that was one of his biggest traumas. I went to burning man in 2024. Didn’t see anyone burn to death, but no way in HELL does a preteen belong there
